I just got published!
The Philippine Journalism Review (PJR) was launched today, June 28 at the SGV Hall of the Asian Institute of Management, coinciding with the Jaime V. Ongpin Awards for Excellence in Journalism (JVOAEJ). The PJR is the only refereed journal in Southeast Asia devoted to journalism and it is published by the Center for Media Freedom and Responsiblity (CMFR).

My paper entitled “Surviving the Government: The Failed Privatization of RPN-9″ is included in the journal’s first issue. Other contributors include JVOAEJ Hall of Famers Luz Rimban and Yvonne Chua, freelance journalist Ma. Cristina Rodriguez, St. Scholastica College’s Ma. Aurora Lomibao, and UP’s Georgina Encanto, Danilo A. Arao, and Lourdes E. Simbulan (Chit Estella). PJR is edited by journalism professor and former dean of the UP College of Mass Communication, Luis V. Teodoro. Professor Arao also serves as the journal’s managing editor.
